Exceptional artistry and experience
make the difference.
Originally established in 1981 as Blondie's, ROCA Salon & Spa is recognized as an industry leader for hair artistry. Voted "Best Salon in Kansas City" by our city residents and a national award recipient for our salon design, ROCA Salon & Spa will provide you with a comprehensive experience, all while making you the center of the show with everyone greeting you with a joyful attitude and smile.
Modern & Sophisticated
Upon entering our award-winning facility, you'll feel like you've arrived in a chic salon in Miami or New York. Since 1981, ROCA is known as Kansas City's premier salon for beautiful, healthy hair color utilizing creative techniques. Our experienced team of professionals trains both nationally and internationally to bring the highest quality of products and services to Kansas City. Our year-long intern program for new stylists ensures they are ready to meet and exceed the standards of quality ROCA Salon & Spa is known for.
ROCA Salon & Spa won a national salon design award with Salon Today magazine for our exquisite, contemporary, and unique design.
In addition, owner Rhonda Cavner is voted "Best Stylist in Kansas City" in Kansas City magazine! She has specialized in hand-painted hair color since 1990, which is now known worldwide as Balayage, and has taught this technique to other stylists.
Devoted to developing future talent
Rhonda holds a deep-rooted passion for education not only for herself, but to use every opportunity to share her knowledge and skills with new talent in the industry to help secure a long and prosperous career. ROCA has evolved into an outstanding teaching salon (similar to a teaching hospital such as KU Medical Center). Our Mentor Stylists are among the top 5% of stylists in the nation and are the top talent in our company. Each of them works as a team together with one or more Associate Stylists to deliver a "celebrity experience" to their discerning guests. You will love their attention to detail as they are orchestrating your cut and color, as well as the excitement of having four hands creating the artistry instead of just two!
